Student Deliverables

Interns will keep a journal that documents the following:

• Hours worked (can be in log or diary format)
• Description of the work performed
• Reflection on their experience

The student also submits a two to three page report upon the completion of the internship.

Generally, the student papers will be due to the Intern Coordinator by the last day of class according to the academic calendar.  The Coordinator will send a reminder notice to the student approximately two weeks before the due date.

 The Intern coordinator makes a final assessment based on the host supervisor’s evaluation, the student’s journal and paper, and discussion with the student.  The intern coordinator then issues a pass/fail grade.
