Welcome Back Social, January 22
5th Annual Blood Drive Callenege, March 8 & 9 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Any current students, both distance education and on-campus, and alumni may participate. DE students and alumni are encouraged to donate to Lifesouth, or, if not possible, to another organization. All DE students and alumni may donate between March 7 and 11 and should contact our SAC DE representative, Brittany Turner (turner.brittany@gmail.com ), to inform him of your donation.
All potential donors must present their driver's license to donate.

4th Annual Essay Contest-submissions due by March 28th at 5:00 p.m., prize is still a$ 50 visa gift card, length no more than 500 words, submisions should be emailed to Courtney Hicks at cmhicks1@crimson.ua.edu.
Edible Book Festival, April 1st
We will be collecting children's spanish books through the reaminder of the semester in the SLIS study to dante to the libraries of Chile, who were affected by the 2010 earthquakes
